Nigeria Records 575 Coronavirus Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 575 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 575 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, July 6.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 575 COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday evening, 123 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, FCT-100 Delta-58 Edo-52 Ogun-42 Katsina-24 Bayelsa-23 Rivers-22 Borno-19 Plateau-18 Ondo-18 Oyo-17 Kwara-15 Osun-13 Enugu-9 Nasarawa-7 Abia-6 Cross River-5 Kaduna-3 Ekiti-1, southwest Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “575 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-123 FCT-100 Delta-58 Edo-52 Ogun-42 Katsina-24 Bayelsa-23 Rivers-22 Borno-19 Plateau-18 Ondo-18 Oyo-17 Kwara-15 Osun-13 Enugu-9 Nasarawa-7 Abia-6 Cross River-5 Kaduna-3 Ekiti-1 29,286 confirmed 11,828 discharged 654 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-nine thousand, two hundred and eighty-six (29,286) with eleven thousand, eight hundred and twenty-eight (11,828) people discharged and six hundred and fifty-four (654) deaths recorded so far.
