Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 595 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 595 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, July 13.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 595 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 156 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-141 FCT-99 Edo-47 Kaduna-27 Ondo-22 Rivers-20 Osun-17 Imo-13 Plateau-10 Nasarawa-8 Anambra-8 Kano-5 Benue-5 Borno-5 Ogun-4 Taraba-3 Gombe-3 Kebbi-1 Cross Rivers-1, south-south Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “595 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-156 Oyo-141 FCT-99 Edo-47 Kaduna-27 Ondo-22 Rivers-20 Osun-17 Imo-13 Plateau-10 Nasarawa-8 Anambra-8 Kano-5 Benue-5 Borno-5 Ogun-4 Taraba-3 Gombe-3 Kebbi-1 Cross Rivers-1 33,153 confirmed 13,671 discharged 744 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to thirty-three thousand, one hundred and fifty-three (33,153) with thirteen thousand, six hundred and seventy-one (13,671) people discharged and seven hundred and forty-four (744) deaths recorded so far.
