Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 661 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 661 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday evening, June 20.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 661 COVID-19 cases recorded on Saturday evening, 230 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Rivers-127 Delta-83 FCT-60 Oyo-51 Edo-31 Bayelsa-27 Kaduna-25 Plateau-13 Ondo-6 Nasarawa-3 Ekiti-2 Kano-2 Borno-1, northern Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “661 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-230 Rivers-127 Delta-83 FCT-60 Oyo-51 Edo-31 Bayelsa-27 Kaduna-25 Plateau-13 Ondo-6 Nasarawa-3 Ekiti-2 Kano-2 Borno-1 19,808 confirmed 6,718 discharged 506 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to nineteen thousand and eight hundred and eight (19,808) with six thousand, seven hundred and eighteen (6,718) people discharged and five hundred and six (506) deaths recorded so far.
