Nigeria Records 838 New Coronavirus Cases (Breakdown By States)
Nigeria has recorded 838 new coronavirus cases.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, 27th December 2020, confirmed 838 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 84,414 which includes 71,034 discharged cases and 1,254 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with FCT recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Lagos State and Plateau State, northern Nigeria.
