1. Some soldiers were reportedly killed when Boko Haram terrorists raided a military checkpoint around Zuma rock in Niger State, on Thursday night. The area close to Madalla town is a few meters away from Zuba, along the Abuja-Kaduna highway.

The National Security Adviser to the President, retired Maj.-Gen.
