It was the show of financial strength on Friday, November 11 at the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention in Anambra as Nollywood actors in their numbers “rained” money on Prophet Chuckwuemeka Ohanaemere Odumeje during his birthday celebration.

YaahooJournalist reports that Prophet Odumeje’s birthday was August 8 but he chose November 11 to celebrate it.

On October 3, Prophet Odumeje boasted on Instagram that the Lion Family (his church members) would shut down Onitsha city on October 11, a day slated for the celebration of his birthday.

The prophet wrote: “October 11th still remains my birthday celebration #thelionhimself. All the #lionsfamily home and abroad will shut down #Onitsha city. Watch it live on my Facebook page.”

Keeping to his words, Nollywood actors including Zubby Michael, amongst others, shut down Prophet Odumeje’s birthday celebration “raining cash” in different currencies and denominations on the popular Anambra Prophet.

Meanwhile, YaahooJournalist reports that Prophet Odumeje’s birthday celebration is coming after the clergyman denied ever saying he would walk on water as widely reported.

YaahooJournalist recalls that some reports had quoted Prophet Odumeje, who is the director of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, an Onitsha based church, to have informed his congregation of his proposed plan to “walk on water” during one of the services recently.

This online news medium understands that Prophet Odumeje, who is known for conducting what many describe as ”controversial deliverance” on his members, was to try and replicate Jesus Christ “walking on water” miracle at the River Niger and was believed to have invited journalists to come and cover the event.

However, Prophet Odumeje, fondly called “The Lion or Liquid Metal,” on Friday, August 9, denied this in a statement on social media network, Instagram, describing it as “propaganda from haters.”

Prophet Odumeje in a terse statement titled “Public Announcement“, said: “I Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere (TheLion) did not say or intend walking on River Niger like they pronounced.

“IT’S JUST A PROPAGANDA FROM HATERS. NOBODY COMPETES WITH JESUS CHRIST,” THE PROPHET SAID.
