Below are the latest NPC Adhoc Staff Training Update, NPC Training News Today, NPC News Today On Training, NPC Portal, 2023 Census, and NPC Training Update Today…

In today’s Latest NPC News On Census Adhoc Staff Training, following the report on how the Chairman of the National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, and his team met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja a few days ago to brief the President on the implementation status of the 2023 Population and Housing Census and seek his support for the completion of the census exercise, the NPC management has asked shortlisted census Adhoc staff to prepare for training in a new invitation.

The new Training invitation sent out to selected Adhoc staff by the Commission through emails contains details of the training activity, Manual. All approved candidates are advised to constantly check their emails and be prepared for the training.

The training invite read as follows:

Dear Applicant, Congratulations! We are happy to let you know that your application for the position of Census Adhoc Staff has been accepted. After carefully examining your credentials, work history, and fitness for the position, we are certain that you will be an asset to our team. You are expected to join all virtual sessions that will be conducted very soon. Please find attached a document containing detailed information about Census Training.

However, Mr president said he also noted that the Commission was on the verge of conducting the final training for the Census before being caught up with the transition programme for a new government and funding challenges, necessitating the postponement of the exercise by the immediate-past President.

In Mr president’s remarks after receiving a briefing from the NPC Chairman, President Tinubu expressed concern over the delay in conducting another census in the country since the last exercise done in 2006.

He urged the NPC to view this delay as an opportunity to cash in on the advantages of the current electronic and digital age.

The President said ‘I have listened to you and we will support you. The accuracy and integrity of your data are important to Nigerians and our national economic development programmes. ‘We will support you but you must be prudent and determined to make a name for yourself. Good luck.”
