Onwuaso Family Announces Death of Matriarch, Mrs Grace Akwugo Onwuaso

Onwuaso Family has announced the death of matriarch, Mrs Grace Akwugo Onwuaso.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the family of late Chief Raphael Onyechi Onwuaso, Ezeafuluanya of Umudioka village, Awka, Awka, Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, has announced the burial of their matriarch, Mrs Grace Akwugo Onwuaso.
Mrs Onwuaso, aka SINGAR, who died on Dec. 18, 2024, at the age of 86, will be laid to rest on March 6.
According to a statement by the family, a service of songs will be held on March 5 at 5:00 p.m. at her husband’s residence.
On March 6, a Requiem mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Church, Awka, at 10:00 a.m., followed by laying in state at No. 23 Okolobu Street, Umudioka Village, Awka, Anambra State, southeast Nigeria.
Her son, Rev. Fr. Chukwudi Lawrence Onwuaso, lovingly described her passing as a transition and expressed gratitude for her virtuous life, hoping heaven would be her reward.
Chief Ikechukwu Felix Onwuaso, the eldest son, encouraged attendees to draw faith and strength from the promise of resurrection.
Mrs. Grace Akwugo Onwuaso leaves behind a legacy of love and virtue, survived by her six children: Chief Ikechukwu Felix Onwuaso, Mrs. Chinwe Susan Nwogbo, Mr. Obiekwe Christopher Onwuaso, Rev. Fr. Chukwudi Lawrence Onwuaso, Mr. Ugo Francis Onwuaso, and Miss Ebele Winnifred Onwuaso.
Her family invites all to join them in celebrating a life well-lived and in paying their final respects to a remarkable matriarch.
