President Muhammadu Buhari has made ten (10) new appointments for his second term in office which is tagged “Next Level.”
YaahooJournalist reports that President Buhari made the 10 appointments for “Next Level” in a statement issued on Monday, December 23 by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
Buhari Appointments for “Next Level” shows that Prof. Adeolu Akande (South West) replaces Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye (South West) as Chairman, Board of Commissioners For the Nigerians Communications Commission (NCC), – subject to Senate confirmation.
In a similar vein, Mr. Uche Onwude (South East) replaces Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Ararume (South East) as Non-Executive Commissioner – subject to Senate confirmation.
On the other hand, for the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Abubakar Sa’id replaces Prof. Adeolu Akande as Board Chairman
Similarly, Dr. Habibu Ahmed Imam (North West) replaces Dr. Lawal Bello Moriki (North West) and Dr. Mohammed Sa’idu Kumo as Board Member
Also, for the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOS), Dr Ismail Adebayo Adewusi (South West), replaces Barrister Bisi Adegbuyi (South West) as Postmaster General/CEO
In the same vein, for Galaxy Backbone Limited (GBB), Professor Muhammed Bello Abubakar replaces Architect Yusuf Kazaure.
Also at the Nigeria Communications Satellite Limited (NigComSat), Architect Yusuf Kazaure replaces Chief Dr George Nnadubem Moghalu as Board Chairman while Dr Najeem Salam replaces Hon. Samson Osagie as Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development
Similarly, Professor Abdu Ja’afaru Bambale replaces Kazeem Kolawole Raji as Executive Director, Technical Services; Hadi Mohammed replaces Mohammed Lema Abubakar as Executive Director, Administration.
Meanwhile, YaahooJournalist reports that Buhari Appointments for “Next Level” is in line with fast-tracking the targets and mandate of the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
