NewsOne Nigeria reports that Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is in a meeting with some Northern Governors in Aso Rock, Nigeria’s Presidential Villa, Abuja, the nation’s capital.
This online news understands that President Buhari’s meeting with the northern governors also has the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari in attendance.
The Northern Governors were led by Simon Lalong, the chairman of Northern Governors Forum and governor of Plateau state, northern Nigeria.
Others in the delegation at the ongoing meeting are Governors Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi); Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna); Mai Mala Buni(Yobe); Abubakar Bello(Niger) and Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa).
Confirming the meeting, the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad wrote on the micro-blogging site, Twitter: “President@MBuhari earlier this afternoon, met with some governors led by Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
