President Tinubu Speaks On FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Joining APC [Video]

President Tinubu has spoken on FCT Minister Nyesom Wike joining the APC.

Newsone Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday said the All Progressives Congress, APC, is open to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

The President stated that the APC is open to receiving Wike whenever he decides to join the ruling party.

President Tinubu spoke while commissioning the Arterial Road N16 (Shehu Shagari Way) from Ring Road One (Nnamdi Azikiwe Way) to Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Road) and some other roads in Katampe District.

The president said with Wike, APC “will continue to be in a joyous mood” while the party’s rivals would continue to “writhe in pain.”

“We have somebody in Nyesom Wike. He is not a member of my party, not yet, but the day he changes his mind and registers with the progressives, we will welcome you,” President Tinubu said today at the commissioning of the Maitama-Gishiri Bridge, Katampe, Jahi, Mabushi Link Roads,” the President said.

Wike is currently a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that PDP is having leadership issues that date back to the build-up of the 2023 presidential election.
