NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) led by Pastor Enoch Adeboye has cancelled New Year crossover service in its churches nationwide.
This online news platform understands that the decision to cancel RCCG crossover service nationwide is coming after the Christian leadership in the country directed worship centres to respect governments’ directives on New Year crossover services.
NewsOne Nigeria recalls that Rev Samson Ayokunle, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), said CAN understand the unfortunate state the coronavirus pandemic has put everybody worldwide.
What members should do over RCCG crossover service
However, RCCG instructed members to connect with the virtual service of the church due to the surge in COVID-19.
RCCG stated further that the January Holy Ghost Service (the first of the year 2021) taking place on Friday, January 8, will be held virtually.
Members of the church were advised to tune in to Dove television and other electronic media to link up with the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s End of Year message and other aspects of the RCCG crossover service programme.
