Senator Rochas Okorocha (APC-Imo West) has appealed to Hope Uzodinma, the newly sworn-in Imo State Governor, to fully integrate him into his government.
YaahooJournalist reports that the former governor of the state, made this comment while addressing the people of Okigwe North during a mega rally organized for the APC Candidate for the federal constituency’s rerun, Miriam Onuoha coming up on Saturday.
Okorocha begged Uzodinma to put the past behind, insisting that the rulingAPC in the state is now a large family.
The lawmaker noted that the party has not fully resolved the problem between them, adding that this might lead to a continuation of the cold war between the governor and his (Okorocha’s) boys.
Okorocha asked that the APC under the authentic chairmanship of Prince Mercilinus Nlemigbo run an open door government that will accept his supporters.
“APC is now a very large family. Although, we know that we still have some areas we need to mend fences, what is important is that APC family has won an election,” Okorocha said.
