See Face Of Lady Bola Tinubu's Wife, Remi Tinubu Fought In Public

Face of lady Bola Tinubu’s wife, Remi Tinubu fought in public has emerged.

Newsone had reported earlier that Remi Tinubu, the wife of Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was caught in a video in a heated exchange with a a fellow woman.

This online news platform understands that during the heated exchange of words, Remi Tinubu called a fellow woman thug for speaking too loud during the south west constitutional review hearing yesterday in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

Newsone reports that the event where Remi Tinubu called another woman a thug, had high profile individuals that include the Lagos governor, senators and important personalities in the south west region.

In an interview on Friday, May 28, the lady identified as Arinola Oloko, said she did not insult the senator representing Lagos Central in the National Assembly, adding that she does not know why the lawmaker called her a thug.

The lady explained: “When we got there [venue of the public hearing], we were told the hall was filled and we demanded for speakers to enable us outside to hear what was happening inside and that is it. The rest is captured in the video”.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the lady further stated that public hearing in the South West was not properly organized and that a new constitution is what is needed, and not an amendment.

She added: “I am not a criminal ma, was my response; because I can’t be, because I am not a violent person.

“The whole exercise is not properly organized. How will you use Marriott Hotel in Ikeja after inviting several people and you now claim that the hall can only take 256 people.

“We want a new constitution because this one has a faulty foundation. Once a foundation is faulty what do you expect. So, we need a new one to accommodate transparency, accountability and autonomy.”

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that when Remi Tinubu was reached for her reactions after the second day of hearing on Thursday, May 27, Senator Tinubu accused her detractors of politicising the encounter.

She said, “I’m not scared to speak. If we’re trying to build a country for you and you’re playing politics of calumny, it’s a shame; but I’m dedicated to what I do and will continue to be dedicated.

“At age 60, if I’m scared, I shouldn’t be representing my constituency.”

Newsone reports that Remi Tinubu is no stranger to controversy, and was recently criticised for politicising the issue of insecurity when a fellow member of her party, Senator Smart Adeyemi, voiced his concerns that were considered to paint the APC-led Federal Government in bad light.
