The 9th Nigerian Senate senators receive N1.24m as “Hardship Allowance” monthly as legislators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Earlier today, YaahooJournalist gave a breakdown of the monthly earnings of the senators of the 9th Nigerian Senate.
YaahooJournalist understands that the Nigerian senators of the 9th Senate receive a mouth-watering N29.48m monthly as legislators.
A breakdown of the senators’ earnings showed that the senators receive N7.45m as a furniture allowance and receive N9.94m as a motor vehicle allowance, which is the highest fee on the breakdown of the senators’ earnings.
The senators receive N2.48m as a basic salary, this is in addition to the constituency allowance of N4.97m and N1.24m as a hardship allowance and also N1.24m as a newspaper allowance, according to the breakdown of the earnings.
