BREAKING: INEC Announces New Dates For 2023 Election [Details]

Anambra governorship list has been released by INEC.

Newsone reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the list of candidates for Anambra governorship election slated for November 6, 2021, with the name of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of  the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] missing.

This online news platform understands that INEC also skipped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the list of cleared candidates for the November 6 Anambra governorship election.

The development means that Valentine Ozigbo who was PDP candidate for the election has been dropped from the Anambra governorship list.

Giving reason of the decision, INEC in a statement by its National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, cited Court Order for exclusion of the party’s candidate from the cleared list.
