Students Trapped in Jos School Building Collapse

Students are currently trapped in the Jos School Building Collapse.

Newsone Nigeria reports that many students are trapped in Saint Academy school which collapsed in the Busa Buji community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, northern Nigeria.

This online news platform understands that the school building collapsed around 11 am, on Friday, leaving students who were writing exams trapped.

Many parents of the school on hearing the sad news, have gone to the school, worried and wailing uncontrollably.

A rescue mission is ongoing and security personnel, including soldiers and police, have arrived at the scene.

A truck that was headed to the building collapse got stuck in the mud.

Some of the injured students have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

The school’s collapsed section is said to be SS1, SS2, and SS3 students class area. According to reports, some of the trapped victims died in the collapse, however, no statement on the incident has been given by the school year.
