Sultan of Sokoto has revealed when is Eid al Fitr 2024 celebration in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, has declared Wednesday, April 10, as Eid-el-Fitri day.
This was contained in a press release signed by Professor Sambo Junaidu, the Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs to the Sultanate Council.
The statement confirmed that the council has acknowledged the report and officially designated Wednesday as the commencement of Shawwal 1445AH, as stated in a press release in Sokoto on Monday evening.

Newsone had earlier reported that Saudi Arabia had declared Wednesday, April 10, as Eid-el-Fitr, after the crescent moon was not spotted on Monday evening.
