As regards the stipends payment of the Npower batch C beneficiaries, no fresh payment has been approved at the moment because the management is waiting for President Tinubu to make decisions on the Npower programme. Meanwhile, the validation of Npower beneficiaries without a validated account is still going on.

Furthermore, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in a letter to the House of Representatives, said that 12 million families would get N8,000 over a period of six months to ameliorate the hardships faced by Nigerians as a result of subsidy removal. As regards to the news circulating on social media concerning an instruction to the Nexit Applicants to submit their business plan and account details to the Npower Office, Npower has responded to the information by saying that such instructions is not from them.

The Ministry is showing more interest in the NHGSFP, one of the components of the NSIP program at the moment. There was a recent meeting between the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Dr Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, mni, NPOM, and NETRIX SOLUTION, a consultancy firm handling the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme Enumeration Data Project, held on the 11th of July, 2023 in Abuja
