Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos State, says Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s Vice President will overcome his present travails in office.
YaahooJournalist reports that the clergyman, who insisted that he would take over from Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria’s President, said Osinbajo will have “the last laugh.”
The Vice President recently denied claims made by Timi Frank, a former National Deputy Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) provided N90billion as campaign funds for MOsinbajo during the 2019 elections.
Osinbajo said is ready to waive his constitutional immunity to “enable the most robust adjudication” of several baseless allegations, insinuation, and falsehoods against his person and office.
“I will waive my constitutional immunity to enable the most robust adjudication of these claims of libel and malicious falsehood,” Osinbajo said.
Reacting to the crisis facing the Vice President, Pastor Bakare said he found the allegation difficult to believe.
“Vice President Osinbajo will have the last laugh. You, think I am stupid? Except he has violated his oath…,” Bakare added.
