Conor McGregor, an Irishman, has fought just twice in the last two-and-a-half years and needed just 40 seconds to KO Donald Cerrone 12 months ago. But after his plans for a three-fight season fell into disarray last year, McGregor insists he will fight regularly in 2021.
McGregor’s decision to fight regularly begins tonight with his rematch against Dustin Poirier, more than six years after their first meeting which McGregor won by first-round KO.
The rivals headline UFC 257 on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi with the fight taking place at around 9am local time (5am UK time) – 6 am Nigerian time.
