McGregor has spoken after being knocked out by Dustin.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that Conor McGregor was knocked out in shocking fashion by Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.

This online news platform understands that Conor McGregor was stunned by Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 as Notorious was knocked out in shocking fashion. McGregor was taken down by his opponent midway through the second round.

Speaking after the fight, McGregor said: “I put in a lot of work, I’m proud of my work, I would have liked to represent my team better, we’ll get to go again and that’s it. I’m gonna go with my kids in the hotel and chill and regroup and that’s it.”

Asked if he’ll fight again in 2021, McGregor said: “of course, I need activity. You don’t get away with being inactive in this business. I’ll take my licks… 1-1 Dustin, good man. It’s a tough one to swallow.”

Meanwhile, this was the first KO/TKO loss of McGregor’s career, but not the first time he’s been outstruck. Khabib, Diaz at UFC 196 and Poirier at UFC 178 all out landed McGregor.
