US Vs Iran: ‘Frustrated’ American Citizen Cardi B, Seeks Nigerian Citizenship

American citizen and rapper, Cardi B, who appears to be frustrated with the administration of President Donald Trump, says she is filing for a Nigerian passport.

YaahooJournalist reports that Cardi B who visited Nigeria in December 2019, made her decision known on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday, January 3 after President Trump ordered the killing of an Iranian General, Qassim Soleimani.

This online news medium understands that General Soleimani was killed on Friday after Trump ordered an attack on the Intelligence Chief, Major General at the Baghdad International Airport.

A statement from the Pentagon, sighted by YaahooJournalist, said President Trump ordered the “decisive defensive action to protect U.S personnel”.

“This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans. The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world,” the statement read.

Cardi B Nigerian Citizenship

Reacting to the decision of the US President, Cardi B said she would be filing for Nigerian citizenship.

“Naaaaa these memes are fuckin but shit ain’t no joke! Specially being from New York . Its sad this man is putting Americans live in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date …I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”

Cardi B, who is referred to as Chioma B in the Eastern part of Nigeria, went on to say she would be picking a tribe in Nigeria.

“Picking my tribe,” the American rapper tweeted on Friday to the surprise of many and excitement of some Nigerians.
