Meanwhile, Newsone reports that the Afenifere National Youth President was kidnapped on Monday, 17 February 2025, on his way to Abuja for a meeting.

His abductors demanded N100 million and two tricycles as ransom for his release.

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, ordered the deployment of the Intelligence Response Team, IRT, to secure Olajuni’s safe release.

Before then, a video went viral showing Olajuni at gunpoint, pleading for Nigerians to come to his aid and raise funds for his release.
