Heavy rainfall has caused massive flooding and gridlock in Lagos State.

Newsone Nigeria reports that a heavy downpour on Wednesday morning, July 3, 2024, caused flooding in the Iyana-Oworo area leading to the 3rd Mainland Bridge/Oshodi.

This online news platform understands that the flood in Lagos rendered the road almost impassable causing a heavy gridlock that has extended to the Berger area of the state.
A social media commenter on  X formerly known as Twitter, who tweets anonymously as #JayNaijaTv shared a video of the flooded area with the caption, “Iyana-Oworo, Olopo meji area heading to 3rd Mainland Bridge this morning is completely flooded, causing long traffic that extends to Alapere.”
