Nigerian singer Seyi Shay says she was a member of the Illuminati.
Newsone Nigeria reports that Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, popularly known as Seyi Shay, has revealed she was once a member of the Illuminati.
This online news platform understands that the singer’s disclosure marks one of the rare instances where an artist has publicly confirmed such ties. There have long been rumours about some Nigerian celebrities being affiliated with the controversial secret society
Seyi Shay while speaking on the OffAir Podcast with Gbemi and Toolz, revealed that her involvement with the Illuminati was a phase in her career.
“That’s when I was in the Illuminati. That’s when I joined the Illuminati. That’s when it was official. Do you understand? I was an Illuminati member,” she said.
The ‘Yolo Yolo’ crooner further explained that while fans may not know much about such connections, people within the entertainment industry often recognize those who were once linked to the group.
“It’s not the fans, guys. It’s the people in the industry… the ones who work with me, work with her, work with that one,” she added.
