Newsone reports that a video showing the moment the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, urinated on himself during the commissioning of a road has gone viral on social media.
This online news platform understands that South Sudan President pee video has left many people shocked. Social media users have criticized it because African leaders are notorious for continuing to serve in office despite being ill or getting older.
In the now-viral video, the 71-year-old South Sudan President, who served as Sudan’s First Vice President from 2005 to 2011, can be seen standing with other elected leaders while singing the national anthem and peeing on himself.
The 34-second-long video was obtained by Newsone Nigeria on the micro-blogging site, Twitter from a user who captioned the video; “African leaders with their greediness for power! “This is South Sudan President Kiir urinating on himself yesterday during the commissioning of a road.”
The politician from South Sudan realized right away that he had urinated on himself, and he turned to peek down his pants while his aides could be seen doing the same.
The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, the country’s dominant party, installed Salva Kiir Mayardit as president of South Sudan in 2005. Kiir fought in the First Sudanese Civil War with the Anyanya battalion in the late 1960s. He was a subordinate officer at the time of the Addis Ababa Agreement in 1972.
In January 2011, 98.83% of South Sudanese voters apparently preferred to break away from the North, and the country overwhelmingly approved of its independence from Sudan. With Kiir serving as its first president, South Sudan gained its independence on July 9, 2011. According to his biography, he has also accomplished a lot for the nation, therefore we wish him a speedy recovery.
