Newsone Nigeria reports that a Nigerian Internet personality and content creator, Kuye Oghenevwede Adegoke professionally known as Egungun of Lagos or just Egungun, is currently trending on the micro-blogging site, X formerly known as Twitter, no thanks to his leaked video.

This online news platform understands that Egungun of Lagos started trending on social media platforms on Sunday, December 1, 2024, after his wife, Pashotah disclosed a blackmail attempt involving a private video of the “That’s massive content creator“.

Taking to her Instagram page on Sunday, Pashotah revealed that the blackmailer had contacted her directly, threatening to release the video unless specific demands were met. She dismissed the blackmail attempt as futile, saying it would not affect her relationship or compel her to comply with the demands.

Egungun of Lagos wife, however, described her marriage as one built on trust, loyalty, and commitment, emphasizing that it has remained strong for over six years.

In her statement, she explained that while she had previously ignored similar issues, she felt the need to speak out this time because the threats were directed at her. Addressing the content of the video, Pashotah clarified that it was a private recording intended for her, which had somehow fallen into the wrong hands.

The statement reads partly, “Hi guys, I’m Pashotah and yall know who my husband is, obviously, I know how so many people have wanted to bring the both of us down including guys and girls Buh I always choose to ignore, buh I’m not ignoring today cuz this blackmailer didn’t go to Egungun of Lagos directly to blackmail him buh he came to me instead cuz he has a motive of putting me to shame like he said in his messages above buh one thing he (the blackmailer) doesn’t know is that this relationship between myself and my husband is not just build on LOVE or build today, this relationship has been coming for over 6/8years when we both had nothing, this relationship is built on TRUST, UNDERSTANDING, LOYALTY, COMMITMENT and so many more, so there’s nothing that can bring us down, not even now.”

Hours after his wife’s outcry, the Egungun Viral Video emerged on social media platforms especially X formerly known as Twitter.

The Egungun of Lagos Leaked Video, now circulating on social media, shows Egungun on a video call with an unidentified woman suspected to be an Instagram model. In the clip, he is seen brushing his teeth before briefly exposing his private parts while dressed in white shorts.
