A video has emerged showing the moment the operatives of the Department of States Services (DSS), arrested Omoyele Sowore, the convener of “Revolution Now.”
Yaahoo Journalist reports that SaharaReporters released a CCTV footage of how the 2019 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 elections was arrested.
This online news medium recalls that DSS operatives picked up Sowore in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city on Saturday and later transferred him to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Sowore was arrested for spearheading a nationwide protest tagged #RevolutionNow. Peter Afunaya, the spokesman of the secret police, said the agency went after Sowore because he crossed the “red line”.
