Reopening of Primary and Secondary Schools have been confirmed by Lagos State.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Lagos state government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed that primary and secondary schools are scheduled to re-open from September 21.
Speaking during his regular briefing on the state’s COVID-19 status, on Saturday, Governor Sanwo-Olu said tertiary institutions would reopen from September 14, 2020.
On reopening of Tertiary Institutions, the governor said: “I am pleased to announce that our tertiary institution will be allowed to reopen from September 14, 2020, all our tertiary institutions,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said during a briefing on Saturday at the State House, Marina.
Reopening of Primary and Secondary Schools
The governor added: “This decision is not cast in stone and is subject to review of our ongoing modelling and what procedure comes out from the Ministry of Health,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.
