BREAKING: Nigerian Singer Tems Wins First Grammy Award, Burna Boy Loses [Video]

Nigerian Singer Tems has won her first Grammy Award.

Newsone reports that Temilade Openiyi, a Nigerian singer,  popularly known as Tems, has won her first Grammy Award, making her the first female Afrobeats artiste to do that.

This online news platform understands that Tems won the award at the ongoing ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the United States of America (USA) on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

The singer’s contribution to the hit ‘Wait For U’ by Future featuring Drake earned her the award.

Newsone Nigeria reports that Tems had earlier reported that Tems was among the guests invited to the annual Roc Nation pre-Grammy Brunch on Saturday.

Tems, who dressed in a white gown, was seen in a viral social media video, conversing with Roc Nation founder Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé.
